My name is Mike… I’m just an average Christian guy, in search of a true, real time relationship with Christ… (Oh my gosh that sounds like the opening line on a Christian Dating Site! Sorry Ladies, I am quite happily married!)
But you know what I mean… I don’t want to settle for the “sit in church out of obligation and mutter through canned prayers, sing a few dusty durges and listen to a few anecdotal stories” kind of religion… not a “now I lay me down to sleep”, “God is great, God is good” type of faith… but a living, breathing, love relationship with the one who gave me life and then gave His life for me…
I don’t want to just believe he is real… Satan believes he is real… I want to KNOW him… I want to recognize His voice when he speaks, see His hand when he moves and find my true place in the Son.
This is my quest… to find truth… real truth… the real JESUS.
